Smart-LCD V1.0 by DF4IAH
This little PCB gives an interface between I2C and the graphic LCD (Farnell.com: 2219021) as graphic output device.
There are several add-ons:
- 2 LED output channels (Duo-LED prefered)
- 1 output channel for driving the LCD backlight
- 1 audio channel for an 1 W 8 - 32 ohm speaker
- 2 input channels for a knob with I / Q contacts
- 1 input channel for a button
- 1 LDR input channel for light level detection
The design uses the Atmel ATmega 328P MCU that reached new low price levels the last days.
This is the first design of this idea and the circuit is not tested, yet.
