pi-ir board

Design by: 10708

This implements a simple infrared transmitter (and optional receiver) for connecting to a raspberry pi. It consists of a transistor (2N2222 or similar NPN transistor) and two resistors to drive the LED, and an optional spot for an IR receiver. It plugs onto the GPIO header on the Pi, connecting the transmitter to GPIO 22, and the receiver to 23. It should fit inside most cases if components are mounted on the correct side. Panelized to get 8 boards on one. Useful for digital signage and such to control TVs.
